EXCHANGES
Hey Everybody,
This week was another wild one, but so awesome.
On Monday we had meetings all day, and then right after dinner we drove 3 hours down to a small town/village called Holsworthy for an exchange. We did exchanges all day Tuesday which was awesome. I was with Elder Cordero, and he is such a good guy. At one point 4 of us missionaries had a lesson with this Lady named Bet. Since her dog goes crazy when guests are over, we taught her while walking on this pathway in the forest. We were teaching the restoration, and it was such a powerful experience. As we got to the first vision, something about being in a grove of trees made it so special. As Elder Christensen shared Joseph Smith's account of seeing our Heavenly Father, and his Son Jesus Christ, the spirit was spine tingling.
Wednesday morning we got up and drove an hour down to Exeter for a Zone Conference. It was so powerful, and there was a big focus on Confidence in the work and Unity. President and Sister Gallacher talked about Agency, and seeing through Christ's eyes. Immediately afterwards we went to Yeovil to do exchanges with the Elders there. We did a lot of tracting, and found a couple of new people.
Thursday morning we woke up, met with Elder Shockley in Bournemouth, and of course for some Taco Bell, and then drove up to Trowbridge to do Exchanges. I was with Elder Chappell. I learned a lot about Grace, and how Performing Ordinances and entering into Covenants is not just to please God and work our way to heaven, but it is a way of inviting and receiving more Grace, so we can be transformed into the people we were made to be.
Friday we got back to Bristol, only to be told we needed to drop off a car to some Sisters down in Salisbury. We drove an hour and a half down there, and while we were there we gave a blessing to the lady they were teaching. We finally Got back to Bristol and now here we are hahaha. We left Bristol on Monday, and didn't get back until Friday night hahaha. So crazy
Lots of Miracles this week!
