Hey Everyone,  This week was really good! We had MLC this week, so we were busy getting ready for it. To explain the title, this last week I learned something important. True and Correct Gospel Principles can be applied to virtually all facets of life. Let me explain. A couple of weeks ago, the President asked us to rent a Harp for a Concert that is happening on the 23rd-25th. We had tried everything, and had called over 50 harpists and Harp shops in the Area. No luck. It was getting stressful because the concert is about a week away. In MLC on Thursday, the Principle kept sticking out to me that we should not just ask what to do, but study it out in our minds and then ask if it be right(D&C 9:8) Yesterday, we were calling people again desperately trying to find a Harp. We applied the principle. Instead of asking if we could rent a Harp, we presented our plan, how it would work, and the amount of money we wanted to pay, and simply asked if that would work for them. 2 people who...

Hey Everyone, it has been a great week! This week was transfers, and one of my companions finished his mission, so I now am with Elder Valentine in addition to Elder Bagley. The day after transfers, there was a music rehearsal for all of the missionaries that can play music or sing, because they are playing in a community concert on the 25th. We were in charge of finding places for them all to stay, and the President said we could put them in Hotels. Of course we weren't lame, and were thinking rationally, so we stuck 15 Elders in our flat on Wednesday night. Just about every square inch of carpet had a mattress on it. Also, last week we went to the President's house and built his patio furniture and then got some Pizza afterwards. It was great to help them out especially with President recovering from Surgery Anyway, it was a great week! Hey Everyone, this week has been crazy in preparations for transfers, but has been great! On Sunday we met with our friend Connie. My last email was about the lesson we had with her and how powerful it was. We ended up inviting her to read the Introduction to the Book of Mormon and to Pray to know if the message we taught about the Book of Mormon was true. When we came back on Sunday, she told us she had done the reading and then told us something profound. She said she prayed and asked if it was true, but felt nothing. She then thought to look in the restoration Pamphlet we left and try to learn. She read it and sure enough it gave a sort of guideline to help her know how to Pray. As she asked in sincerity in the Name of Jesus Christ, she said the Holy Ghost manifested to her the truthfulness of the message and the Book of Mormon. She accepted the Baptismal date of July 9th, so please pray for her! This taught me something pretty simple but powerful: THE HONEST SEEKER OF TRUTH WILL FI...
