Changing A Tire With A Fork

Hey everyone, if you can believe it, this week was even busier than last week.

We had two zone conferences this past week, one in Exeter and one in Cardiff. On Tuesday morning while in Exeter, we found out the mother of the senior couple in the office died and that they were leaving back home for two weeks. Coincidentally, we were asked to take over for them for that time... on top of what we are already doing, it's gonna be a blast. Let's just say I've had to start personal Study at 10:30pm almost every night because that's the only time I can fit it in.

When we were in Cardiff we had to move some sisters to a new flat, and completely furnish their old flat, at the times we weren't doing tech set up. As we were heading to the chapel to do the technology, the front passenger tire started spewing out air and was going flat. We booked it back to the chapel before it was completely gone. This was stressful because we hadn't made it to Costco or Subway to get lunch for the Zone Conference yet. When we got the tire jack out to change it, we realized it was a crank one, and we didn't have the metal piece to use it. We ended up having to use a fork to crank it up.

Lastly, on Friday a member took us to get some Haggis for dinner. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is ground up sheep heart, liver, and stomach. Of course since I'm not a picky eater at all, I was so happy to hear that! I am not going to lie to you, it was one of those times that I had to just shovel it down and smile, while I was crying on the inside.

Thanks everyone for the emails, hope you have a great week!
