WALKING
Hey Everyone, this week has been exhausting but it has been so good!
Since my area is a walking area, we have to be super effective at planning our days. This week we ended up walking around 8 miles a day which has been a ton. I'll attach a pic of one of the hills. It has been amazing though to see the Lord putting people in our Path.
We had no choice this week, other than to go get some more fish and chips from our favorite place. I think they are going to start knowing us by name here pretty soon!
One huge miracle this week was when I was able to go on Exchanges with Elder Jaccod (Shu-coh). He is from Italy and is still learning English, and he is hilarious. One of our lessons fell through and we felt prompted to walk an hour up a hill to get to a Less Active members house. We walked there in the pouring down rain, and the member was home. We talked to her, and she actually ended up telling us a lot of Anti-Joseph Smith stuff, and a story that she had been shown. Neither of us had ever heard of the Concerns that she brought up, so we just testified of the Book of Mormon. The very next morning, we were on Zoom for Sunday school and the first thing that the teacher talked about was a story he felt prompted to share. It was the Answer to the very thing we had heard the night before! It was amazing that we had never heard of it, but when we did, it was brought up the next morning.
I absolutely love the Welsh people here. Everyone that is from Wales has so much pride in being from Wales. While we were street contacting in the Town Centre, I was informed that the church was actually restored in Wales. This lady got our number and is going to show us documents that prove it too. I always laugh when people ask the question, "Do you know what you believe?"
Lastly, it was pretty fun walking through the Town centre at night when it turns into a Ghost town. All of the Shops close at like 6pm and then you don't see almost anyone out.
Anyway, it was a great week this week!
