Book Of Mormon Musical!

Hey, so this week we went and proselyted at what is called the Book of Mormon Musical. I thought it was gonna be great that we were going to talk to people after a musical that the church put on. Little did I know what it actually was. For those that don't know what it is, it is put on by the creators of South Park. It is literally a play that makes fun of the church. I wasn't offended or anything like that, but I went from thinking people were going to come out having learned what was in the Book of Mormon, to realizing that everyone was in fact strapped with Anti-church material. So we stood outside afterwards and talked to people as they came out. A lot of people thought we were part of the cast.  We gave out a Book of Mormon and were able to set up an appointment with someone. Other than that, we basically just had people try to argue and Bash with us, and we got to just stand there and smile and be as Christ Like as possible. Honestly it was a lot of fun!

Also we played basketball today and the Courts here are so weird (pic of the court below). We also got to play Basketball with the Youth this week. It was like 20 versus us 4. We had a ton of fun.

Last week was stake conference and so this week we got to meet with our own ward.  It was the first time they had been back together for in person church in two years.  It was fast and testimony meeting and everyone was really emotional about being back together.  It was really awesome!

We are in a walking/bus area and we had to try to figure out the busses. The Bus drivers kept passing our stop and the busses kept getting delayed. Needless to say, we ended up waiting around for about 5 hours total for the busses. It was so funny, but my companions were frustrated.
