WHY I BELIEVE!

Hey, sorry I didn't write last week things have been way Busy!

This week I went on exchanges with my Zone leader Elder McKeon. It was so much fun. First, we were driving to a service in the morning and hit a bird. There is a thing here with the Pigeons, that they always stay on the road and then get out of the way just in time. Apparently one was a little slower. We nailed it so hard hahah. We also almost got a restraining order(not really, but let me explain).

Elder McKeons companion was on exchanges with another missionary earlier that week. While knocking doors they ran into someone named Kiarra, who was making dinner so they assumed she was the mom. Elder McKeon and I came back, and an 18 year old opened the door. We talked for a little bit, and then we were like, "Hey, so we were hoping we could talk to Kiarra. We met her the other day. Is she your mom?" He responded, "Why are you looking for my 15 year old sister. She's a Sophomore in High School''. IT WAS SO AWKWARD hahaha! It is a good thing that he was chill, otherwise it could have been worse.

Lastly, Yesterday we had what is called a "Why I Believe" Devotional. This is for People being Taught, and Recent Converts. We got two of our recent converts there, and it was so awesome! I had a really cool experience. Our mission President was speaking, and I thought to myself, "How does he speak so powerfully and Confidently?" The Spirit touched my mind and heart and said, "It's because he knows who he is and why he is here". I love that thought. When we know who we are and why we are here it makes all the difference!

We also after the Devotional got to walk the temple Grounds. Gabby, our Recent Convert, had never been on the grounds. As soon as we walked on the grounds, she said, "Wow I can just feel the Peace immediately". It was great to be back on the grounds

Hope everyone has a great week!

Elder Wilhelmsen
