SERVICE
Hey everyone,
This week has been great! It finally hit 100 degrees this week, so that has been an adjustment. We have been doing so much service, it is exhausting. We had to miss the first session of General conference to help someone move, but it's so cool to help people out and serve as Christ would.
This week we went over to the Alger's from the YSA branch's home for one of the sessions of Conference. They are so cool, and have a ton of kids. They made me play the Ukulele for them all before we left hahaha. It was so much fun!
My companion Elder Pope is one of the smartest people I've ever met haha. He is 23, and was a young men's President for 2 years after high school before coming out. He loves video games and loves listening to Music from Kirby Video games.
We also met with this big Samoan offensive lineman that plays football at the local community college. He is a recent convert named Eli. He is so cool, and we were able to connect pretty well.
Not a ton happened this week, but Conference was so good. President Nelson seems to always say the exact thing I need to hear. He is inspired.
We went hiking this morning and overlooked the Phoenix valley, which was super cool.
Not much to report on this week, but i am doing great!
