DRAGON

Hey Everyone, this was another amazing week!

 

 

On Tuesday we were at a member visit with someone from the YSA, and his mom said, "Do you want to see our dragon?" I thought to myself, It's probably time for us to go,  hahaha. Turns out they meant their bearded dragon Lizard, and they weren't going insane. I was able to hold it and it climbed all over me. I think I want one now!

 

 

We had a super cool miracle this week as well! For some context, there is someone in our YSA that we have been trying to teach, but he is always busy. For further reference, I have been in this area for over a month, and haven't met him yet. Friday night, I was outside writing in my journal, when I got a very strong prompting we needed to text him right then. I shrugged it off because it was almost 10pm and we usually aren't supposed to text people that late. The feeling returned however so I went in and we texted him asking when we could come over. He responded within 10 minutes that we could go over the very next day! We had set up to go by 8pm that night, but at 11am that morning, I felt prompted to change the time to 12:45 that morning. Again I hesitated, but eventually did as the spirit told. He responded immediately and said 12:45 would be better. We were able to go over and have a great lesson with him. It all goes back to following the promptings of the spirit. 

 

 

On Friday, a member took us out to eat at Oregano's pizza bistro. It was pretty expensive, and I kept thinking of getting cheaper options and the member kept asking why, and I said it wasn't my money, and that's how I was raised. She proceeded to chastise me, and told me to order something expensive, we ended up getting a whole 14" Chicago style deep dish pizza each, and I could only eat two pieces. Looks like I got dinner for the next 2 weeks hahaha.

 

 

Thanks everyone for their emails. This work is amazing and I am loving it. Always follow spiritual promptings! Remember that when Nephi was getting the plates, it took him 3 tries. The first and second time he tried, he wasn't successful. Laman and Lemuel hardened their hearts but Nephi kept trusting. As you follow the promptings you feel, you grow into the principle of revelation!
