Hey everybody,

This week has been fantastic! First off let me explain the title. This is my companion Elder Chandlers first name. I finally was able to pronounce it this week so I was pretty proud of myself. He also taught me how to say "He pua u'i 'oe" in Hawaiian which means "you are a pretty flower", so I guess I've got game if I ever go to Hawaii hahaha jk.

Tuesday this week we weren't allowed to drive, so we spent all day Tuesday walking up and down the street shoveling whoever's driveway or cars needed it. It was nice to be able to get out and serve, even if it wasn't our area. We met a ton of great people, and I found out that shoveling in knee deep snow in basketball shoes isn't ideal haha.

Something hilarious that happened this week was that we were at a members house and when closing, instead of saying "in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen" I accidentally said "In the name of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints''. We were politely asked to leave. No I'm just kidding, but we all had a good laugh.

I had a super cool spiritual experience this week. This lady I was talking to on Facebook was trying to attack me and told me that the message we teach is false and I have no way of knowing it was true, and that I will be judged for teaching lies. This didn't hurt my testimony at all, because I know the answer I have received, but yesterday during my personal study a scripture came to my mind that summed it up perfectly.

It is Alma 5:45-46 which says,

"45 And this is not all. Do ye not suppose that I know of these things myself? Behold, I testify unto you that I do know that these things whereof I have spoken are true. And how do ye suppose that I know of their surety? 46 Behold, I say unto you they are made known unto me by the Holy Spirit of God. Behold, I have fasted and prayed many days that I might know these things of myself. And now I do know of myself that they are true; for the Lord God hath made them manifest unto me by his Holy Spirit; and this is the spirit of revelation which is in me."

I messaged her back and bore my testimony about the savior and the Book of Mormon and the truthfulness of my message. She didn't agree to meet with us, or anything like that, but she stopped going at me and we were able to have a great conversation.

Also we have been going hard these last few days, and now have like 5 or 6 lessons each day set up for this week. It's really cool to see this kind of success, because at first I was feeling really inadequate training right after being trained. Its astonishing to see the lord can take someone with as many shortcomings as I have, and help me have success!

Thanks everyone for the emails, I really appreciate them! I am absolutely loving it out here.
