Thanksgiving
Hey everybody!
This week was super good, and we had Thanksgiving so it was also super filling.
I am currently stepping away from playing ping pong right now, because the church we are at has a table!
We started teaching another person we found on Facebook which was really cool, although the Arizona state health department recommended Arizona go into a 3 week lock down so that might happen soon. A lot of the people we are finding right now are on Facebook anyway, so I'm not sweating it too much.
Thanksgiving morning this week the Elders in our apartment asked if we could come help with service. It was a rough service. The lady we helped could have been on the show hoarders let me tell ya. It took a few hours and then we went over to a members house in our ward for dinner.
It was so good, and they had Texas Roadhouse rolls. Did you know you can get a dozen rolls for $4.50? If that isn't the best deal I've ever heard. So Friday we went to Texas Roadhouse and got 2 dozen rolls with the cinnamon butter they have. That may just be my favorite thing ever.
We have been praying like crazy for referrals this last week, and just yesterday we got one! It was so cool to talk to Lue and she wants to maybe get baptized already.
We were doing our weekly planning a few days ago In our hammocks and a super nice family came in to play pickle ball. It was super cool because their son is actually in Birmingham, England right now which was my original call. So if I ever get over there I already know someone!
I would invite everyone reading to do Russell M Nelson's gratefulness challenge, it has given me so much more joy!
Thanks everyone for the emails, they are appreciated.
Sincerely
Elder Wilhelmsen
