Lots Of Hammocking

Hey everybody,

This week was really good, had a lot of amazing things happen.

Last P day we strung our hammocks in between two trucks and laid there most of the day. We also played football as a zone which was super fun.

Also on Thursday we had a lot of calls but it was cold outside so we set the volleyball poles up in the gym and sat in our hammocks in there while we did our missionary work. Idk if I've mentioned that I like hammocking yet hahaha.

We had some really cool miracles this week that increased my testimony of prayer. I posted about a week and a half ago on Facebook asking if anybody needed me to pray for them for anything. Got a lot of responses and then the day after I prayed for them I sent them a message letting them know that I did, and started conversations. I was praying a ton this last week and a half because almost all the conversations fizzled out, so I was discouraged... until 2 nights ago. I've been messaging this one lady for a week and a half, and tonight I asked and she agreed to let us come over to teach about how we can be with our families forever! So I was so happy. Another thing that has been great is that I've been working on being more bold. For those of you that know me, know that I'm not a very confrontational type of person so being bold has been hard for me. I studied a lot this week about being bold and read this thing called "the Riccardi letter" again that my sister Emily sent me. I realized that it all came down to "who I am". I was reading in 3 Nephi 5 and read verse 13.

It says:

"Behold, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I have been called of him to declare his word among his people, that they might have everlasting life." I realized that being a disciple of Christ, I have the holy Ghost to guide me at all times. It gave me the boost I needed this week and I have been a lot more bold.

Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are the best, they love us more than we could ever know.

Also I broke a mug this week, it was hilarious because my companion thought that a gun went off.

There are also these weird pig things called havalinas. They are so ugly but funny to watch pictures will be attached below.

Thanks everyone for emails, they are much appreciated! I realize that not everyone has my email because my mom sends out the emails so if you want to email me, its cody.wilhelmsen@missionary.org

Love you guys,
